Nordic lab vaccine storage freezers

Vaccine storage freezers

Low temperature freezer for vaccine storage

Different vaccines require specific temperature conditions to maintain their stability and effectiveness. Nordic Lab provides a comprehensive range of vaccine freezer solutions designed to support these varying storage requirements for vaccines that specifically need to be stored below the freezing point.

Reliable storage is essential for the retention, preservation and handling of vaccines. Vaccines must be stored in cold environments below room temperature to help preserve stability. Most vaccines are stored in standard temperature fridges in the range of 2 °C to 8 °C, however, other vaccines, such as MMRV-vaccines, need to be stored even colder, from –15°C to –50°C.

ULT freezer (–70°C to –86°C) for vaccine storage

Ultra-low temperatures are essential for the safe and effective storage of some vaccines, particularly those that are biologically sensitive or rely on delicate components like mRNA. By preserving the stability of vaccines, inhibiting microbial growth, and ensuring long-term storage, ULT freezers play a pivotal role in maintaining the potency and safety of vaccines.

The small, lightweight and compact design of the Nordic lab freezers makes it possible to transport the freezers around different locations, as they all can go through standard doors. Furthermore, some freezers are stackable which enables the possibility to have several freezers at different temperatures in limited spaces.
