Reliable storage is essential for the retention, preservation and handling of vaccines. Vaccines must be stored in cold environments below room temperature to help preserve stability. Most vaccines are stored in standard temperature fridges in the range of 2 °C to 8 °C, however, other vaccines, such as MMRV-vaccines, need to be stored even colder, from –15°C to –50°C.
