Ultra-low temperatures are essential for the safe and effective storage of vaccines, particularly those that are biologically sensitive or rely on delicate components like mRNA or live-attenuated viruses. By preserving the stability of vaccines, inhibiting microbial growth, and ensuring long-term storage, ultra-low temperature freezers play a pivotal role in maintaining the potency and safety of vaccines.
