In many cases smaller labs must share a laboratory freezer which leaves the access to the samples open for more people. The small sized upright freezer can be a great and affordable alternative for applications where the laboratory staff wants their private freezer for their use only.
Upright freezers with a small footprint are also suitable in applications where it can be difficult to access the facility. It can be in a basement, on the top floor, in a mobile lab, onboard of a ship or a location where it’s needed to be carried up a stairway etc. In many cases it would be less costly to install our upright freezers with small footprints compared to a freezer with a larger capacity.
